Russell graduated from the University of Sydney in 2000. He began his physiotherapy career in Newcastle gaining experience in general physiotherapy before furthering his musculoskeletal skills in the UK.

Russell has lived on the central coast for 7 years where he has continued to develop his interest in the area of foot & ankle injuries. His experience includes working in a specialised foot & ankle clinic in Sydney’s CBD & now is proudly the principal physiotherapist at the first foot & ankle physiotherapy clinic on the central coast. He is passionate about continued professional development & remaining current with the best evidence based treatments. This includes presenting on & attending courses, lectures & conferences with a focus on sports injuries, manual therapy, dry needling, stability training, biomechanics & more.

Russell’s passions are running with “Barry” the boxer dog, surfing, and his veggie patch.

Vanessa Johnson

Vanessa has recently joined the team as Practice Manager and brings with her over 10 years of reception and administration experience. Her friendly personality and always smiling face provides a warm welcome to all patients visiting the practice.

Vanessa likes to keep fit with a passion for netball and running.

Erin works part time in our reception team & also manages to squeeze in study at Newcastle Uni for occupational therapy. Prior to her university studies Erin has had experience working in reception & will always do her best to make your visit comfortable & easy.

Erin’s passions are basketball & running.
